WATERAX earns U.S. patent for the Composite Cross-Over Diffuser

We're proud to share that WATERAX has been granted U.S. Patent No. 12,650,131 for our Composite Cross-Over Diffuser — the engineering behind a lighter, more compact pump-end that delivers the same performance crews depend on.

Moving to composite components let us reduce the weight and size of the pump-end, most notably on the MARK-3® Watson Edition, while maintaining the durability and long-term reliability WATERAX is known for. The patented design is engineered to withstand the high-pressure, high-temperature demands of the fireground — so the diffuser holds up where it matters most, answering the question of whether composite can match metal in the field. The patent confirms this is original WATERAX engineering — a design that's uniquely ours.

The patented technology is now featured across the MARK-3® series and the STRIKER-4™ series.
