WATERAX acquired the intellectual property and the rights to manufacture the durable 185cc engine from ROTAX. We invested heavily in new tooling and major improvements on key engine components in order to make the 185cc engine lighter and more durable.

The WATERAX 185cc engine features the following enhancements:

The MARK-3® successfully passed the USDA Forest Service 100 hours endurance test and requalified on Aug 4th, 2015 at the San Dimas Technology and Development Center (SDTDC) and secured a 5-year contract for pump kits with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
