Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the role of the Parts & Service Specialist, is to support customer needs and fulfill them by helping them select the best parts and/or accessory solutions. They are responsible for answering customer questions about our pumps and equipment related to parts and collaborates with customers and vendors to maintain proper parts inventory. The Parts & Product Specialist is proficient in the use of the parts catalog and online genuine parts store, this person is also responsible for making sure these tools are up to date by keeping current on new products and product updates.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise on genuine spare parts portfolio and service requirements;
  • Proficient in the use of parts catalog;
  • Collaborate with engineering on documentation related to spare parts (release parts updates);
  • Update item data in ERP system;
  • Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information and bulletins;
  • Oversee e-shop inventory, adding and removing items, optimizing online offering;
  • Keep current on new products and product updates;
  • Provide technical parts support with customers and sales team;
  • Send quotes, sales orders, order acknowledgements for spare parts;
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors to maintain inventory and assist in selecting required parts;
  • Builds and maintains positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty, improve service level on order deliveries;
  • Resolves customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner and always looks for ways to better serve our customers;
  • Uses his/her firsthand product use expertise to provide customers with the best WATERAX product solution suitable to their needs;
  • Share sales and product insights and feedback with product management team to facilitate new features and updates;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management;
  • Adhere to all WATERAX policies and procedures pursuant to sales administration processes and guidelines;
  • Adhere to WATERAX guidelines and policies in matters of ethics and code of conduct

Education & Experience

  • Understanding of WATERAX products, services and capabilities. Must demonstrate ability to understand our products and mechanical concepts and to successfully communicate them to customers and sales channel partners;
  • Work experience in, and technical knowledge of, WATERAX products, applications and targeted industries;
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • College/Cegep Degree or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience;
  • Valid driver license;

  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication abilities in English / French. Spanish is an asset;
