Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Product Marketing Specialist reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team at WATERAX. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with a passion for marketing, graphic design, and an eagerness to learn. The role will support the marketing efforts of our products through the creation of engaging presentations, technical documents, and sales enablement materials to help our team and partners effectively communicate the value of WATERAX pumps and products to customers.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Product Presentations & Documents: Create product presentations and “sell-against” documents for the sales team. You will also support the team by designing updated marketing and technical documents that can be used to promote products effectively. (Basic graphic design skills required)
- Sales Enablement: Develop simple, clear resources such as feature/benefit sheets, product brochures, and presentations to help the sales team sell WATERAX products more effectively. Support field specialists and account managers in accessing these resources quickly.
- Assist with Product Training: Support the creation of training materials for the sales team and external partners, with a focus on providing easy-to-understand materials for the introduction of new products or updates.
- Market Research & Trends: Assist with basic market research by gathering data from industry reports, customer feedback, and online trends. Help support the team by identifying key industry needs that can influence marketing strategies.
- Social Media Content Support: Work with the team to brainstorm ideas and create digital content (including images and copy) for promotional purposes. Assist in designing and posting on platforms like LinkedIn and other social channels, using tools like ChatGPT and AI.
- Use of AI Tools: Leverage AI tools such as Copilot, Grock, and ChatGPT to streamline content creation and improve efficiency in preparing product messaging.
- Website & Catalog Updates: Assist with updating product catalogs, the website, and internal documents to ensure all materials are current and reflect the most up-to-date product information.
- Assist in Product Launches: Support the marketing team in organizing and executing product launch campaigns, including creating presentations, promotional materials, and social media content.
- Customer and Channel Partner Training: Support Sales teams and channel partners by creating training materials, running product training sessions, and sharing product knowledge. Enable them to sell effectively by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.
- Genuine Online Parts Store Management: Oversee the genuine online parts store, ensuring accurate categorization, up-to-date product listings, and clear marketing messaging.
- Historical Analysis and Research: Conduct historical analysis to assess past product performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for future marketing strategies.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure that product designs, specifications, and features are accurately represented in marketing materials. Work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
- Adhere to all WATERAX policies and procedures pursuant to sales administration processes and guidelines;
- Adhere to WATERAX guidelines and policies in matters of ethics and code of conduct
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, ideally in technical or product-focused industries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator) preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
