The Canada North Resources Expo (CNRE) is an exciting weekend that showcases all things new in the energy industry. The focus includes oil and gas, forestry, mining, and power procedures. There will also be exhibits for heavy construction and project infrastructure. Essentially, the CNRE promises an information packed weekend for all in attendance.

When will the CNRE happen?

Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27. 9:00am through 5:00pm both days.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are $20 at the door. Pre-register online for free using promo code: CNRE2004

Where will the CNRE be held?

2187 Ospika Boulevard, South Prince George, British Columbia

The chosen location of Prince George, British Columbia, adds to the overall participant experience. “It’s an exciting region to be in because it’s such a booming region.” Especially for the forestry and construction sectors. “It’s a cool show,” Pellerine said. “There’s a lot of pieces of equipment. There’s a lot of community support.”

Who will be in attendance?

The event extends both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor section is a sight to see for those in the industry. “We have a lot of outdoor exhibits and a lot of equipment, so I think that’s the more exciting part of it,” Pellerine said. “We will also have a demo zone where the dealers demonstrate the equipment as well.” This way attendees can get a feel for what the equipment looks like in action. The demo zone especially gives attendees a different sort of chance to view equipment they might choose to work with.

Why should I attend?

“It’s a great way to see a lot of things in one place,” said Pellerine. The Canada North Resources Expo gives people the chance to experience products in a way they wouldn’t normally be able to. Plus, it’s all under one roof. “People can climb on the equipment to check it out,” she said. “And there’s the interior safety conference on the Saturday that attendees can interact with.”

For those who love to stay ahead of the game, “it’s a good place for people in the industry to see the newest technologies,” she said.
